THE TELEGRAPH SCHOOL AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE, 2020

To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan but also believe. A big chievement is a perfect chance to remind someone how talented, hardworking and deserving they are.

National High School, Hazra Road Campus is very proud to announce that they have received “ The Telegraph School Awards for Excellence, 2020” in the following categories:

A. School Category

The Anand Paul Memorial Award for ‘Social Service’.

National High School, Hazra Road Campus, an esteemed institution received “Daan Utsav Harit Samman” (for two consecutive years) and “ Daan Utsav Uttam Sarvik Samman” for their endless endeavour to bring a change in the society. Our School organises literacy programme for underprivileged children every year. Necessary goods like old clothes, old books are given to ‘Divine Destination’- an organisation helping victims of natural disaster, also make occasional visit to Tiljala Shed, Dakshin Kolikata Sevashram, Navanir, Premashree to name a few. The memories we create shows us our right path.

B. Individual category

I) The Sonika Chauhan Award (with scholarship) for courage to Susmita Sarkar.

Ii) The Surrendra Paul Memorial Award (with scholarship) for courage to Sumit Kumar Lal. Also winner of Chittajit De Memorial Scholarship.

Iii) The Madanlal Dhandhania Charitable Trust Award for academic excellence by a student to Bishwajit Saha.

Iv) The Suddendra Paul Memorial Award for courage to Udaydeep Ray.

V) The Adamas University Award for Outstanding Talent in Sports to Amanjyot Singh.

A successful event is an approach to paint examples of overcoming  adversity. In future obstacles may come but we will win. Numerous triumphs are yet to come.
